People's Opinion About Chinglish
To get a better understanding of what people think about Chinglish, we designed a survey and sent it out to all the students from Y7 Care, Hope and Joy.
Unfortunately, out of the approximately 84 students we sent the survey to, only 27 people responded.

As you can see from our results, it is easy to come to a conclusion that most people in our school (Victoria Shanghai Academy) speak or use Chinglish in any shape or form in their everyday lives. Most people think that Chinglish is not necessarily good for them, but it can be tolerated. But, most of us prefer using both forms of writing rather than sticking to Chinglish or English. In conclusion, people think that Chinglish can be tolerated, but they still understand the benefits and disadvantages of it.
- I think that Chinglish is quite convenient for texts. But it's not proper English so it will not and should not be used in schools.

- Chinglish is just a language mixed together. Not everybody in Hong Kong knows this language. So, I think it is not a language.
